Wonder if Obama turned around to get the brisket beef jerky. From Chowhound, a post from someone really desiring:

I want to make beef jerky like Czuchraj’s

I watched a Food Network show, The Best Thing I Ever Ate (Salty Goodness episode) ,and I was reminded of how good and different the beef jerky at J+J Czuchraj Meats in Cleveland Ohio is. I want to try to make some. In the episode they said they make it with beef brisket. It’s very moist and and tender and delicious: decidedly unjerky-like. The thing I am most interested in is capturing the texture. I have a wood barrel smoker, a Weber kettle grill, and a propane BBQ. I’ve got hickory chips, applewood in seasoned logs, mesquite charcoal and gas. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, does it sound bad if I say I’ve got gas?

Update: Among other things, Obama bought  20 smokies, a half-pound of barbecue jerky, and a half-pound of mild jerky. Yum.
